United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) announced that it reached the limit for foreign nationals seeking H-1B status who hold a bachelor’s degree or the equivalent for the new fiscal year 2007 (FY 2007) on May 26, 2006.
Workers not exempt from the cap must wait until Fiscal Year 2008 to apply. FY2008 applications can be sent after April 1, 2007, for a start date of October 1, 2007.
