    Becouse philipines’s visas were given to F1 all chargeability areas. That’s why there will not be any movement in september.

    ON AUGUST 2012 VISA BULLETIN

    D. PHILIPPINES FAMILY FIRST PREFERENCE VISA AVAILABILITY
    Continued heavy demand for numbers in the Philippines Family First preference category has required the retrogression of that cut-off date in an effort to hold number use within the annual numerical limit.

    I wanted to let you know about a new petition I created on We the People,
    a new feature on WhiteHouse.gov, and ask for your support. Will you add your
    name to mine? If this petition gets 25,000 signatures by August 12, 2012,
    the White House will review it and respond!

    https://petitions.whitehouse.gov/petition/oppose-passage-hr-3012-fairness-high-skilled-immigrants-act/gD52rqxN?utm_source=wh.gov&utm_medium=shorturl&utm_campaign=shorturl
    Oppose passage of HR 3012 – The Fairness for High-Skilled
    Immigrants Act.

    i’ve been waiting for my petition for 12 years now. why is the F1 always retrogress?
    it’s heartbreaking for me because it’s been 25 years since i never had a chance to be with my mom. please U.S immigration do something about the F1 priority date.

    Minh, I did and hope everyone do the same. We can’t let this bill become a law. If it passes we will face a longer wait than we already are right now.

    @rahul
    Call NVC when the cutoff date approaches before your pd becomes current to find out if you need to resubmit any updated document. I would say you could call them around the beginning of the year. But make sure you keep an eye on visa bulletin each month so that you have time to get the updated document ready before your pd is current. The cutoff dates in the last 2 months moved very slowly. I am not sure when it will reach your pd. Your pd and mine are not far apart. Hopefully, it will move quicker in the next coming months.

  25. July 14th, 2012 at 04:40 | #25

    @Adam How did u know that by September. there is no movement on this category in the Phil.

    Think a little and you will understand that this fiscal year is over and there is no visa left. It’s so simple.

    July 14th, 2012 at 15:29 | #32

    @ala2
    China, India, Mexico and Philipines will get more percent of visas. That’s why movement of all other countries will slow. It is extremely unfair.

    this act will increase the quota of family based from 7 to 15 % and decrease employment based visas thats why employment based is suffered from retrogression

    July 19th, 2012 at 19:26 | #48

    @chellenov72010 Your case is considered complete once you have submitted the needed papers and paid the visa fee. NVC emails and informs the client that the case is completed. You can also call or email (preferred) NVC and ask about your case.
