anyone got interview news….within 2 or 3 days people start getting interview news…..f2a plz update

my pd is sep 2006.
under f-1 (india)
case num-nwd2008…….?
but the nvc shows the appointment dates 2009,10 also under same category,in sep visa interview dates in delhi.
me not receive any letter also not date in the appointments list.
what is this?

You’re PD is not current yet,cut-off dates in the VB now for F1 INDIA is 2004,so don’t worry about appointment is too early for that.Where did you see that shows 2009-10 interview dates,can you provide the link for me

But year of PD and approval year suppose to be the same right?He is talking about two different years,so which one is the PD 2006 or 2008?

nope friend….it is ought to be different in case of all the categories except f2a bcaz all the categories is taking 2 to 3 years or even more for approval of the petition ….the PD is when you file a petition and file number depicts the year of approval of that petition….just check your case number…

The year in the case number is the year the NVC assigned the case number and most of the time it’s the year the petition was approved. However this year number can change if a new number is assigned like in my case a new number was assigned because I changed consulate. So from XXX2009… it is now XXX2010…

friend as i have told you in earlier post…few cases may have taken more than normal time for approval…..take a example…
Mr A has filed in 2004 and got it petition aprroved in 2009 due to some missing documents(RFE) …so his casenumber will be nwd2009…..(new delhi)
Mr B has filed in 2005 and got the petition approve in 2008 …so his case number will be nwd2008….

got it file number or case number does not have any relation with pd…

my father filled my petion in 2006 and approved in 2008,after approving nvc give the case num NWD2008…………….?

I WANT 2 TELL U. NVC SEND THE INTERVIEW DATES ACCORDING TO THE NWD CASE NUM.
BUT IN LIST I SEE NWD2009……….., DATES ARE AVAILABLE.
YOU JUST TELL HOW IS POSSIBLE 2009 COMES BEFORE 2008.

I have file for my merried son and daughter in December 18th 2002. How long they have to
wait for Visa to come USA? It has been already 9 years. Why it is taking so long? Is it anything wrong in filing process may be.
please advise.

Because there was visa retrogression starting January 2011 Nothing to do with the filing process.

@tameka Yes, their is a chance that your PD will be current in November2011 but m sure that December 2011 visa bulletin will be current for you.

us consulate mumbai realese november 2011 interview appoint ment schedule but there is only for IR5,CR1 and some K catagery visa appoint ment.
there is no schedule of visa call for F3,F4,F2A,F1,F2B it is strrange .

how do you know there’s no movement for all categories.. I mean it’s still early to say that..

good news friends….f2a is moving forward atleast 1 month bcaz few of our friends has got interviews….so update ur case and give info about f2a and other categories…

If things keep going at this rate, u need to wait around 6 months.. may b more.. but dun b depressed..
I hav to wait 13 months.. or more..

Your PD is not current yet, look above. It’s may 15th 2000. Yours could be soon so you will receive a notice from NVC.

Just be patience. Lucky u guys PD is getting closer. My sister was waiting patiently for almost 20 years. Don’t worry it’ll come to you hopefully anytime b4 the end of this year. Gud luck!
