In these years retrogression occurs and in october the retrogressed dates moved back to pre retrogression dates in october visa bulletin every time

But i dun think it will be the same this time.. coz.. if all of them are moved back before retrogression, it will be 1 year plus for almost all categories..
And there won’t be enough manpower to handle that..
that’s why i m suggestting abt moving 1 month to 2 months for every month till the PD become current again..
after that, they might pause a while again to settle down those families..

I did interview last year on 10/2010. Unfortunately, I have a bad result on medical exam. After 1 year of the treatment, I am back and now waiting for the damn VISA BULLETINE.
All required documents were submitted. The only thing left to do is getting the VISA.

Yes that’s where i’m looking at form I-797C, but there are only received date and notice date space for priority date is empty.I have a different dates for both of them.Maybe I should call NVC and confirm my PD.Thanks kram 808.

I-797C is the receipt notice only. But I-797 is the approval notice with PD. Since you have I-797C, ur PD should be the received date as well. It matches both form on my sister’s petition. Hope this help!

Yes this is exactly how it is received date is also PD,I called NVC yesterday and they told me the same thing.But thanks anyway,appreciate it.

I submitted my F4 back in Feb 02. The bulletin for Sept 2011 says: F4 15APR00.
I have been waiting for 9 years and a half. Do you know about how much longer I would have to wait?

I assume u r from World Wide.. bad luck.. only if ur PD is a month earlier, u r in the waiting list the same as us..
several months ago, PD went to Jan 02.. but now it is retrogressed.
u hav to wait till PD went to Jan 02 again..
I think u have to wait for 2 years.. probably more..

GR’s prediction for F3 was extremely close in the October bulletin. Come on back GR !

This first new fiscal year bulletin brings bad news to evry1. Im very disappointed! Mostly all categories move at least 1 month. Boo.oo.oo :’(

actually.. it’s expected just like GR said.. no interview letter, no movement.. just b patient.. we dun want to go there all at once and fight for jobs, schools, houses and so on..

Actually, all ppl hoped and guessed that the date will move back to Jan 02 in Oct VB.
I know that is not possible but i also hoped that..
there’s still tiny hope that could happen for Nov Visa Bulletin.
but i dun want to bet on that..
i just wish they work steadily.. like 1 to 2 months for every month.. till Jan 02..
after that, they will go on with normal procedure which in general calculation is moving the PD dates of 2 months in 3 months’ Visa Bulletin.
My prediction and thoughts are for F4 worldwide only..

go to 2006 F1, Sep VB is more than 3 years retro than June VB.
Look at 2007 F1, as a new year.. it went back before retro date..
so i was just hoping to become like this..

we are starting a movement to force DoS to utilise full quota of f2a.(88000 visas) and they are utilising only 50% at the max…v are sendng emails to concerned authorities…plz join us ….for ur spouse and children….

Most F4 waiting time is 20-24 years. Hopefully it will be faster this time.Good Luck my friend.

Thanks for the tip. My sister is just waiting for her appt interview letter. It’s been over 20 years now. Hopefully her PD be back again. PD is 1991.

No it’s not true. Read this:

Applicant is under 21 using his or her adjusted age and then filed for adjustment of status during the one-year window before visa retrogression. The subsequent visa retrogression will not affect that child; his or her 2A status is locked in. It does not matter when the visa becomes available again or how long it takes to complete the adjustment process. The same outcome should occur if the visa retrogressed before the child filed for adjustment, but then became available again during that initial one-year window and the child filed for adjustment before the end of that one year.

Ruling applies if CSPA applies to beneficiary. If your question is for derivative beneficiary then you have to research if derivative beneficiary is entitled to CSPA given this beneficiary’s situation.

Oh great! Now I know the differences. It’s a derivative beneficiary!

My Priorty date is May 2005 and to date not in receipt of interview date. Please say how long do we have to wait for interview date.
