    In these years retrogression occurs and in october the retrogressed dates moved back to pre retrogression dates in october visa bulletin every time

    But i dun think it will be the same this time.. coz.. if all of them are moved back before retrogression, it will be 1 year plus for almost all categories..
    And there won’t be enough manpower to handle that..
    that’s why i m suggestting abt moving 1 month to 2 months for every month till the PD become current again..
    after that, they might pause a while again to settle down those families..
    anyway.. good luck to all !!!

    I did interview last year on 10/2010. Unfortunately, I have a bad result on medical exam. After 1 year of the treatment, I am back and now waiting for the damn VISA BULLETINE.
    All required documents were submitted. The only thing left to do is getting the VISA.

    My PD 20 March 2005

    @GR
    WHERE ARE YOU FROM. AND UR PREDICTION IS IT APPLICABLE WORLDWIDE OR FOR A SPECIFIC COUNTRY?

  7. kram808
    September 8th, 2011 at 21:39 | #7

    @sony
    I-797C is the receipt notice only. But I-797 is the approval notice with PD. Since you have I-797C, ur PD should be the received date as well. It matches both form on my sister’s petition. Hope this help!

    Hello,
    I submitted my F4 back in Feb 02. The bulletin for Sept 2011 says: F4 15APR00.
    I have been waiting for 9 years and a half. Do you know about how much longer I would have to wait?
    Thank you,

    @RA
    I assume u r from World Wide.. bad luck.. only if ur PD is a month earlier, u r in the waiting list the same as us..
    several months ago, PD went to Jan 02.. but now it is retrogressed.
    u hav to wait till PD went to Jan 02 again..
    I think u have to wait for 2 years.. probably more..

    September 10th, 2011 at 02:44 | #23

    @william
    Thanks for the update, but don’t you think it is possible that after October things could go back to Jan 02 and continue slowly?

  24. william
    September 10th, 2011 at 04:47 | #24

    Actually, all ppl hoped and guessed that the date will move back to Jan 02 in Oct VB.
    I know that is not possible but i also hoped that..
    there’s still tiny hope that could happen for Nov Visa Bulletin.
    but i dun want to bet on that..
    i just wish they work steadily.. like 1 to 2 months for every month.. till Jan 02..
    after that, they will go on with normal procedure which in general calculation is moving the PD dates of 2 months in 3 months’ Visa Bulletin.
    My prediction and thoughts are for F4 worldwide only..

  25. Lynn
    September 10th, 2011 at 06:33 | #25

    GR :
    October Visa Bulletin Update:
    F1: 05/08/2004
    F2A: 02.01.2009
    F2B: 01/07/2003
    F3: 08/09/2001
    F4 : 08.05.2000

    Once again thanks GR for a very close prediction except for F1. So guys as I said just because you don’t like the prediction it doesn’t mean that it’s far off.

  26. sony
    September 10th, 2011 at 08:47 | #26

    Guys,did you see that November VB coming soon.But William you said that you’re hoping VB to move back to JAN02 .How about PD 2001 it will skip us or what? GR please keep up with you’re prediction you’re always so close.

    September 10th, 2011 at 10:32 | #27

    @sony
    just a tiny of hope as if u look at this..
    http://www.travel.state.gov/pdf/Cut-off_Dates_worldwide_online.pdf
    go to 2006 F1, Sep VB is more than 3 years retro than June VB.
    Look at 2007 F1, as a new year.. it went back before retro date..
    so i was just hoping to become like this..
    but it looks like it won’t.. anyway.. nth wrong with hoping sth good to happen, rite?

    Is it true that if 1) the child is turn 21 years of age, 2) doesn’t apply on CSPA (e.g. after retogression even though child was under 21 when the PD was current before), and 3) the case was already completed will not qualify the child’s benefit?

    No it’s not true. Read this:

    Applicant is under 21 using his or her adjusted age and then filed for adjustment of status during the one-year window before visa retrogression. The subsequent visa retrogression will not affect that child; his or her 2A status is locked in. It does not matter when the visa becomes available again or how long it takes to complete the adjustment process. The same outcome should occur if the visa retrogressed before the child filed for adjustment, but then became available again during that initial one-year window and the child filed for adjustment before the end of that one year.

    Okay. Thanks! Is this the same situation as other categories as well? My sister is F4 category. Her PD become current last year October. Child was under 21 at that time. Case was completed in May of this year. Now waiting for her PD become current again for medical and interview. The child almost turning 21. Is this going to effect on the child’s status?

    Ruling applies if CSPA applies to beneficiary. If your question is for derivative beneficiary then you have to research if derivative beneficiary is entitled to CSPA given this beneficiary’s situation.
