Can somebody please explain me what has happened here. How can the priority dates shift backwards as has happened in the january 2011 bulletin and now in february 2011 bulletin also.

my husband is on F4 pref phils. pd is sept1990…its current i guess late 2010 last yr but we recieved COA (choice of agent) also late last yr…no more time to gather all documents until the dates retrogress so we have to wait again for pd to be current. by december 2010 petitioner recieved AOS bill and later IV fee bill but IV processing fee paid for only one person the benificiary, my husband. NVC wants documents for proof having a spouse and children (15 and 16). still processing/gathering our documents so until now NVC not yet known of the wife and children. hope we can complete our documents before the pd becomes current again.

you think our pd will be current this 2011?
much better if it will be current by 2012 so my children will graduate in high school…
