Now it makes no difference to me how many months VB will move ahead, because my cut off date is 6Jan2001! Only hope the VB move more than 7 days …

I meant more than 7 days movement in F4.

my pd for f4 is jan/02/2001, and i just payed the visa fee yesterday just waiting for ds-230 now, very happy to be almost there.

Hi all I want to know how many months they spend on one PD because my brother’s date is Nov,2006 and they are working on 2005 i wonder how soon will it be for him to get his appointment letter?

My interview was March 29 and it went well. I was put on administrative processing for security check. My administrative processing took only one month. I am now in New Jersey, USA since a week ago. Good luck to all of you.

Hi dear, my girldfriend wants to know if she is separated from her husband and is still legally married and she is f3 when her case becomes current will her husband has to sign any document for her to leave both she and her two children ages 5 and 8. The husband has not lived with them since the last child was 1 year. Her father filed for her. do u forsee any problems in her getting her green card.

Thanks for your interest. The forum was closed too long so I don’t come back to update info. I got interview letter (9/8/2010). NVC clear F3′s cases of F3-2001 except cases not complete or complete too late.
Hope next VB will touch the cases of JAN2002.

Dear samplus, it varies time to time. we applied our application in 2001 and received the approval of the petition in 2007! But now it seems that everything about cases goes very fast, so we can’t compare now with 2001.

But, as I said, my PD is 06Jan2001 and by the order of NVC on 10/6/2010 I filled and sent my DS-230 form on 24/6/3010! Why you have such delay and not filled the DS 230 form?

my pd is 10 april 2002 f3. anybody know when i get my interview ?

Mepphil, I’m happy for you. It is only 4 days I’m in the states now. I have already applied for the SSN and she said it would take 10 days. But regarding GREEN CARD, I have no idea how long it would take. Do you have any idea?

We didnt apply for ssn# and greencard. they will mail it to your address in 2-4 weeks time.Next thing you will do is to apply for drivers license and job hunting…im 6 mos. here in Las Vegas and still jobless.. hehehehe..recession still around..

No, as my friends in another immigration forum mentioned, I have to ask them almost 3 weeks after sending the forms and documents.

The only immediate problems she has is that if she is still married, the husband can be a beneficiary, if she wants, I even think ist’s automatic if she was filed for as married. Her situation will not prevent her from acquiring status in the US.

Great info you are giving me…Caz I will want to return home for a while innitially, and I would want to at least have my green card b4 I leave the US. I will only have just about 2 weeks…so fingers crossed…tho I’ll have to get to the interview first. I am awaiting submission of the AOS, and then my interview date.

How did you get the cards if you did not apply…I know the SSN can be automatic once you are in the US had you indicated on your application. But dont you have to make an application for the greenard?
