Hi all! My PD on 4-th of October 2003. My Husband received his Green Card two years ago and i’m still waiting…Does anybody knows when is my current date?

My priority date is Sept 2004 f4. When do u think i will become current? I really cant wait.

I think it’s possible that James got his interview letter, cos september is a last of 2010 fiscal year and NVC will maximum use visa nubers under each category. But after that in october and next visa bulletins there’ll be slow forward movement as the begining of 2011 FY.

Today I saw on a website there is person whom PD is 29-5-2002 F3 Phoned the NVC and they told him that they are sending him the interview letter. The interview will be held on 01/9/2010. It is amazing and strange.

How it’s possible? PD is a date when your relative filled I-130 in USCIS office. Today is 7 august yet!!!

My PD is October 22, 2001 under F4, country Bahamas. I am hoping/predicting my PD will become current in September, 2010′s bulletin. I want to adjust my status in the US, so I am thinking of taking my medical exam this month and having all the paperwork completed and ready to be sent in on September 1st, 2010. Can anyone help with exactly what needs to be submitted in the packet? I understand it should include:

I-485, I-693 (Medical),I-864 (Affidavit of Support), I-765 (EAD), I-797 (Notice of Approval), 2 Photos, and Copies of Birth Certificate, Passport w/ Non-immigrant Visa, and I-94. Am I missing anything?

Question 1: Do I need to complete I-485 Supplement A? I entered the US on an F1 Student Visa and have remained in legal status ever since.

THANKS for any help as I do not want to delay the process at all.

Your friend would need a sworn affidavit to show that her husband and herself are legally seperated. If she doesn’t do that she will have a problem. Had friends with same problem a few years ago. I also read about it in the past, when researching the DV lotto. If I find info I will send to you.

Yes friend got green card. A legal separation is not a divorce. It is a notarized document giving a sworn statement that the couple is separated for however long and do not live together. Have her contact a notary public or a lawyer. This is very simple and needed to e done as the U.S consulate would need a legal document stating separation and length of time.

The way I understand this things is that you need the supplement A if you have violated your status and you want to use the 245 i provision.

In your case, you don’t need that because you are still under valid non-immigrant visa status…unless you have worked illegally.

My PD is March 8 2003 in F1 category, and I am unmarried. Having been placed in this new category, additional documents will be required, like marriage certificate, etc. But NVC will inform you as to what they will require at the appropriate time. You can call them though: 1-603-334-0700

my f1 was august 12,2002. i already went to the embassy to do the interview but i was told that if i was married i would be place in a different category, which they did so thats why i am in the f3 category.

If Visa Bulletin keep moving so fast as it moves now, your pd will be current at least 10 month later. You’d rather count on 1 year.

Yes. The PD remains the same since it is the day the documents were files with USCIS. I was in Cat. F2B then i was changed to F1 and the PD remained the same. This is what creates the advantage/disadvantage when you switch cats. Same PD against a new cutoff date.
