I went thru the same thing. It took close to 7 weeks to get complete doc from NVC.

Its take only you ten days to complete your doc since NVC receives. It’s my case. Recently NVC reviews a doc very fast.

Do we have any July 2001 Appointments for June 2010? You are the one with all the info.

The only way the category does not change is if he was married wen the petition was filed. If he was filed for as an unmarried individual, and then gets married prior to receiving the visa, then surely he will be placed in another category…and that wait is much longer…

I started with DS 3032 back in Nov. 2009 and it should not take more than 9 months. If this holds true, we should have a month per month VB movement from now on hence my prediction is some date in July. Let’s think positive and concentrate on July 2001.

Applicants in the following visa categories are required to provide 1) an original or certified copy of their Petitioner’s birth certificate and 2) original or certified copy of their Petitioner’s marriage certificate from the Petitioner’s current and all previous marriages.

* Parent of a U.S. Citizen who is at least 21 years old (IR-5)
* Brothers and sisters of United States citizens (F4)

I meant, after you case was complete, how long did you wait for appointment?

Oh, sorry lol. NVC received my documents on March 11th. They completed my case 2 weeks after on March 25th. I waited just over a month then received appointment correspondence on April 29th.
