how long police papers take in your country ours take five working days i use express mail that take 6 to 7 working days but by was the holidays it will take a couple of more days u should use the dhl

I hope you are having fun in Vegas. One question on GC pictures that needs to be sent in with civil docs. Is it mandetory for my wife and daugther to have their ears showing in GC pictures while looking straight in to the camera?
If I was single wen I was filed for as F1 category, but got married subsequently, I am in the process of getting a divorce, how does this affect my category. PD Oct 2003, therefore the date is now current. If the divorce comes thru before the final aspect of the process comes thru, and I can prove that I am divorced, what will be the most likely decision…

You have to inform them about that before your visa become current,
There is no problem if you want to convert form F3 to F1 , but the problem when you wait until you get the visa number in F1 category then you tell them that you are married , They consider it as hidden information to get the visa benefit( time of waiting in F1 < time of waiting in F3) and that will jeopardize opportunity to get the visa
you should send to them the divorce paper to change your category . becouse if you are married , you are in F3 and if you are divorce , you will be in F1.
but according my knowledge your PD in March 2004 .
hi ! my pd is april 2002. in f3. who got choice of agent form ? i am still waitting my documents. any body know that what time i take my all documents ?

Actually I was waiting for visa bulletin to be current for this month which is now to apply for adjustment. I prepared all my documents and I will send them in the next couple weeks. What about you?
damn all the other category moved except f3 are we going to have to wait for months as it prolong, its been the same way for the past three months f3 its so slow now

Well my Visa fee ($400) has been ready since November…just waiting on my dad to make the payments and send the AOS. But My sister is experiencing some delays caz she added her son that she had subsequent to the filing, so as soon as that is sorted out, it should be fuul speed ahead. My dad does not wan to do the process twice, so that’s why I hav to waiton my Sis…but that’s kool.
Niraj / Pooyan :- My Interview was on 4th January at Mumbai, they ask me about my sponsor, their address, phone number, name of company where they doing job, what that company make. and it’s done. Next day I got the Visa through coureer.

Police certificate is part of the package that goes with DS 230 forms. I sent in all the documents with the DS 230 form to NVC after printing out the cover page to include with these documents. The address is written on that cover page.
With the way VB is advancing, I am not sure when will we get our chance to go for an interview.
You may want to check any country specific instructions to be on the safe side. You ask how you may do that. I would recommend calling NVC and get the answer first hand and while you are at it ask them what is going on with F3 category.

Call the NVC…as long as you have a receipt # or case #, u should be able to get any information you require. To speak to customer care you will need to have at hand your petitioner’s full name and DOB, as well as urs…good luck.

I would say around 2-3 weeks. I have everything ready and waiting on police certificate.
After all documents are submitted…what’s the average lenght of time to wait for the interview date…Jamaica, anyone knows?

yes it have tracking number i call today and they say it arrive yesterday in the us so will call tomorrow to see if nvc recieve it
