As far as I know based on what has happened with me so far, They Affidavit of support should be sent off with that cover page, the very next thing is the IV fee generation, when that is paid then you send in your civil documents….
My das has decided to wait on my Sister’s papers to catch up with mine that are a little ahead because she has a child subsequent to the filing…that does not bother me, as it gives me more time to decide what exactly I want to do. As long a the process to complete has commenced I am happy.

I paid the $70.00 and received the invoice few days ago however the DS-3032 which was email will take longer to enter the NVC’s computer. NVC offers information on how the steps ought to be taken and emphasizes on NOT SENDING ANY PAPER WORK BEFOR YOU ARE ASKED. Now my question is on Affidavit of support form, DS230 form and the rest of civil documents which I have to put together. The very next step is Affidavit of support form. Do I just go ahead and ask my petitioner to send it in or do I wait till I am notified by NVC? What about the rest of the forms?

Do not send anything to NVC now until your payment for IV fee is done. YOu should put I864 w/its document cover sheet + DS230 w/ its document cover sheet & civil document into same package then sned it to NVC.

I mean after paying IV fee, you send DS230 + civil document with document cover sheet to the petitioner. The petitioner puts I864 w/document cover sheet and yours DS230 + civil document into one package then send to NVC. By this way, you maybe get appointment letter within next 2 or 3 months.

Dear mt2644, first of all let me thank you. Afterwards, by notification, NVC means the letter which you receive, based on which you pay the 70$ and 400$. If you have received those letter, which I believe you have, because you said you have paid the 70$, then you should not wait for anything and you have to go ahead and submit the required documents. There is absolutely no need to wait. This is what I did as well and there was no problem.

Dear Akshay. My priority date is Feb. 16, 2001. I was notified by NVC to act upon my document processing and affidavit of support on Aug. 14, 2009. My case was completed in terms of document processing on Oct. 08, 2009. I was notified for the interview date on Dec. 03, 2009. My interview date is Jan. 27, 2010. I think this will show everything.

Dear m2t644, you can now, with no waiting, go ahead with affidavit of support. But as for the civil documents, you have still wait to pay the 400$ and get confirmation on that.

My uncle petitioned for my mom and, me and my dad are on that petition so i was wondering if me being charged with a misdemeanor at age 15 (I’m 19 now) puts me or my parents in jeopardy of being denied the visa?……and also how long does it take, once our PD is up and we send the paperwork, to be able to get the work authorization. Thank you for any advice you leave.

i am new to this site which i find very useful.i have a question and i hope someone here can give me useful information.my mother who is a us citizen applied for me and my pd is decemer 2003.i got my choice agent and i paid the required fees online.Now my motherwant to fill the affidavit of support for me but the problem is that she did not work and she did not fill taxes for the last 4 years.to SOLVE the problem she asked my sister to be my joint sponsor and she accepted.wat confuses me is if my mother has to fill the I-864 form too.if yes wat are the other documents should she submit.Also i wanna know wat form should my sister complete taking into consideration that she lives with my mother in the same house.please reply im really confused.
