    June 12th, 2009 at 02:01 | #16

carlos brown, congratulations for getting your ds-3032 form.anything which nvc sends by e-mail is valid. take out print of your ds-3032 form and fill it up and then send it to nvc.even all your documents such as ds-230 etc.. can also be sent by e-mail transactions.so no need of waiting for the documents which nvc send my post.u can also proceed with the e-mail ones.

    Hello all,

I have been reading about 245(i) provision passed in 1998 and extension given in late 2000 to file papers with immigration services up until April 30 2001 (Please Google 245(i) to read more about it).
From what I gather, 300,000-500,000 applications for immigration purposes were filed in different categories, FB or EB, during the first 4 months of 2001 that may take up to 2 years to get cleared for people in F3 category. I have provided the following link for you all to see how visa bulletin progressed in the past 10 years and would like you all to pay attention to F1 category and the number of months it took for this category to get passed 2001 hurdle.

    http://www.jackson-hertogs.com/quota/fam-oth.htm

This may and I underline “may” happen to F3 category particularly to people who have filed after April 2001 such as myself. Since I do not have access to any breakdown on applications filed with immigration services, I just have to go by past data available to draw a qualitative conclusion on possible time frame for F3 category with 2001 PD in general and applicants with April 2001 – December 2001 PD in specific to get called up for interview.

I thought this was important enough to share with you all and hope I am totally wrong on this for people in F3 category with 2001 PD.

hello everybody in F3 again, My PD is 20 NOV 2000
at last, I have received an e-mail today from NVC sending the form of agent and also the paying fee for affidavit of support for my petitioner.
now I have to fill the agent form and my mother in the US should pay 70 dollars for the fee.
they say after 4 to 6 weeks when they receive the agent form filled by me , I can expect the package of more forms and information.
I will let you know more later on

    June 19th, 2009 at 00:07 | #32

hello agian and thanks to Pouyan and mt2644. I try to come here and say everything step by step.
After I received the form to choose the agent and I sent it back, they sent an e-mail to both me and the petitioner and asked for 400 dollars for each applicant and 70 dollars from my petitioner for the fee of affidavit of support. My petitioner ( my mom) paid the 70 dollars and received the receipt and as I named her as my agent, she has to pay 400 dollars for each of us too. Now the NVC is going to send her the package of some forms to fill, in the next few weeks. In the meantime, I thought it is a good idea to have the police certificate soon( as I am living at the moment in England). I know in some countries like Iran that certificate is unavailable so they don;t expect you to have it.
    I will be in touch.
    Rose

Rose thanks for you information. Very promising. I just see that all the people receive their forms through email apparently. I do not remember what email we have provided the NVC with about 9 years ago. I even do not remember if I had given my own email or my dad’s email. Can anyone comment on it?

  36. Rose
    June 19th, 2009 at 11:48 | #36

    Pouyan jaan,
Don’t worry about the e-mail, I think there are many people who did not have any at that time. I think they might send you both letters by post . But I suggest you send them an e-mail and tell them your e-mail and your father’s email by that. but remember to write your case number or LND or LIN number in the subject of your e-mail otherwise they do not respond you . aslo you have to write the name and DOB of the petitioner and applicant as well.
You also can call them by phone and make these ready because they will ask for them whenever you call them. and tell them your email addresses.
Hope you hear from them soon.
if you do not have their e-mail and phone ask me.
    good luck

I think if you have a lawer, they will send everything to him/her. Don’t worry and as your lawer said they have started your process means he has received the forms and may be filled them for you.
you can ask him for more information too.

From what I have read so far, it seems as though US immigration is going to try to finish processing applications with year 2000 PD by end of FY2009. This means starting FY 2010, October 1st 2009 – September 30th 2010, US immigration should start processing 2001 PDs and I hope for a smooth sailing throughout FY2010 for all people waiting in different categories.

    June 24th, 2009 at 03:43 | #48

I read many articles and posts on US immigration progress. My information comes from public domain data which is available to everyone interested in this subject. To give you specific example on this forum, you must have read couple of posts by Rose and Carlos Brown few days back with end of November 2000 PDs. I have tested this observation many times and it seems to me that predicting visa bulletin movement based on receiving papers from NVC does work “most” of the time. If people in late Nov. 2000 are receiving papers such as previous instances, visa bulletin ought to advance passed their PD the following month. If my observation holds this time, we may have 4-5 weeks of advancement for August visa bulletin. It is very important for people to post their progress in order to get an idea as to where we stand in relation to visa bulletin movement.
