    hello everybody in F3
My PD is 20 Nov 2000 and I asked the visa center by phone about my son who is turning 21 this month and I told them that I have not received anything from them. they told me to write an email and I did. Today they replied that my case is being reviewed for the Child Act and I have to wait. I suppose that is a good news, it means they already opened my file! after many years. I prefer to be late but go there with my son.
I will be in touch when I receive anything.

hello rose the nvc told me the same i hope that my daughter will have a chance pd nov 24 2000 f3 although she is 22 approval was received on jan 2005 i think the way they do it is to subtract the time that the visa petition take to approve from the person present age if i am correct your son and my daughter has a chance

    June 6th, 2009 at 02:56 | #18

    Hi Leedee
You try computing yourself by this method :
    1. CSPA = (Notice Date – PD) + 45 days
    2. Date of current – (Your birthday – CSPA). If 21< then ok
    Good luck

Hello everybody in F3 again, as for us the visa might soon be available, it is better to be prepared and make the documents ready even before they contact us. I thought it is a good idea if we can list all the necessary documents here. I know some and I appreciate if you can add to this list for me and for everybody else.
here is the list that I know:
1- First they contact us by e-mail or mail and they send us to clarify our agent, the agent can be ourself and it can be any other person to receive the documents from them.
2- we need a police certificate showing we do not have a bad record.
3- we have to fill the form DS230
4- our petitioner in USA should fill the affidavit of support that is form I864.
5- we have to have the vaccination record. ( which I don’t have, but I am sure I received all necessary vaccines since childhood) . anybody knows about this please explain.
6- we have to get an appointment to see the doctors for medical exams. I know there are some doctors that are affiliated to USA embassies and we have to know where to go. they will send the result to the embassy in a week , so it is a quick process but should be done before going for the interview.
7- In the meantime we should receive a letter from NVC to show when we have to go to the interview.
8- we have to have our Birth certificate and the official translation of that for every person .
9- the petitioner in the USA should have the certified copy of his/her Birth certification in English.
10- we have to have the original marriage certification and the offical translation of that.
11- the petitioner should have the certified copy of his/her marriage certification. all should be translated in English.
12- and of course the passport and copy.

OK, I could find out these, any body knows more, please mention for everybody. It can really expedite the process because providing some of the documents we do not have in hand might take a long time and it will delay our process. so I request everybody to complete this list.
thank you and good luck everybody.
