    Dear Lord:
We, the people on EB3 Category, can’t expect anything from this country.
It’s very sad but think that it’s time to start moving on to other countries with more sensibility. My sons are so desperated for getting a loan to study after being accepted in their respective universities but since we are in the limbo……
I am so sorry for them, the famous American Dream is now a nightmare.
I feel so frustrated, can’t offer any word to my family on when we can expect to get the GC.
I hope anyone from the USCIS could read my comment. We are human beings not animals….we were called to work here in this country that we felt was our new home but now is all gone.

I really feel sad for this situation EB3.
I told you guys before, USA doesn’t want us anymore here in their Country
USCIS is full of people who don’t care about people’s life.
But don’t worry this is just a trip at the end of the way , we all we meet with 1 God, then we will know if we did it right or not? To late maybe.

    April 9th, 2009 at 20:43 | #7

As much as it hurts, it’s proportional to the amount of people coming in and applying for GC’s, and it has increased in massive quantities since 2000. The so called “IT consultants”, and 99% of them are gultis from AP. Most of them are unqualified and know nothing – and they apply in the EB3 category and are clogging up the avenues for those who rightfully qualify.

Of course everybody has a right to a better life, but it’s unfortunate that it’s at the cost of others.

And all of you exactly know the type of people I’m talking about.

I feel sorry for those who fall on the EB3 Category, especially the nurses. They’ve spent so much time, money, and their effort in studying their degree, and yet they still can’t practice it. Many people view USA as a “a land flowing with milk and honey”, a place where they can fulfill their dreams. I hope that it will be “current” soon, it’s nurses “stepping stone” in giving a better life to their families. Also, if it will take too long for it to open, nurses at that time would be too old to practice their profession. It’s not good that when you go to hospitals, your nurses will be sicker than the patients ;P

I have been waiting for so long and have spent so much to get my GC under EB3. It’s sad that a teacher like me who directly serves the American people so they can have a better future cannot even get reciprocated. I think the long wait has become too old. Time to move on and serve my own people.

IF immigrants leave.. I am not sure there will be another Google here.. I am sure Uncle Sam will be happy to see his job go to China or India… not through outsourcing but through sheer innovation. One reason that unemployment is so high is the economy.. the second is lack of freedom to start businesses by those on visas.. I can assure u an immigrant has the streak to go ahead and create employment — we will start compaines and hire Americans.. Do u not want that?

  12. Richard_Peru
    April 10th, 2009 at 17:06 | #12

If it was designed to protect the American worker, by limiting competition it actually hurts. Companies will prefer to hire H1Bs because they are cheaper and get stuck because of the EB3 long waits. That will push wages lower, affecting both the American and Foreign worker.

If the EB immigration system provided some kind of EAD while PD are not current. The foreign worker can switch jobs for higher wages, which will keep wages higher, benefiting everybody.

I have been in this country for 13 years, working as a teacher, teaching the next american generation, paying taxes, contributing to this society and economy. I have 3 children america citizen and i feel like I have all the right to complain. I hope E-B3 will move up eventually, after 12 years it is crazy to think the we have to wait 5 more years.

In this country everybody have have the right to say whatever we want. For ever and ever ilegal people has become legal, because at the end for amnesty or marrige people become citizen . We are legal workers, we have paid taxes, maybe even more than you pay and ofcourse we have the right to say what ever we want. At the end, we will sucess and you will be frustrated living with your misery. Nobody can hate us, because we are legal and doing works that american can not do!!! GOT IT????

BROTHER, I FELL SO SORRY, BECAUSE I HAVE THE SAME FRUSTRATION WITH MY EB3
IT SAD BECAUSE WE DID PROOF THAT NOT AMERICAN COULD DO OUR WORK AT THE TIME WE DID OUR LABOR CERTIFICATION. WE SHOULD BE TREATED BY INMIGRATION WITH MORE DIGNITY.
I ENCORAUGE YOUR TO BE STRONG AND NEVER LOOSE YOU DREAMS, EVEN THOUGH AMERICAN DREAMS IS DEFENTLY A NIGHMARE NOWADAY, BUT WE ARE HERE ALREADY AND MOVING TO ANOTHER COUNTRY COULD BE EVEN WORSE.
MY SUGGESTION IS THAT WE GET TOGETHER AND SEND A LETTER TO THIS PRESIDENT WHO IS WILLING TO HELP INMIGRANT.
THIS PRESIDENT WILL NOT HELP ILLEGAL PEOPLE IF THEY DO NOT CONTROL THE BORDERS, BUT WE ARE LEGAL PEOPLE SUFFERING A BROKEN USCIS (LEGAL DEPARTMENT) AND IT IS NOT FAIR LEGALIZE ILLEGAL PEOPLE BEFORE LEGAL PEOPLE IN THIS COUNTRY, SO MY SUGGESTION IS TO LET THEM NOTICE OUR SITUATION.
AMERICAN DO NOT KNOW ABOUT US BECAUSE WE ARE NOT AS MUCH NOTIABLE AS ILLEGALE, DEFINTLY THEY ARE MAYORITY, BUT WE ARE SUFFERING ALSO BECAUSE WE DO NOT WANT TO LOOSE OUR LEGAL STATUS.
LETS GET TOGETHER, AMERICAN WILL BE ON OUR SIDE IF THE KNOW ABOUT US.

  22. Uncle Alien
    April 13th, 2009 at 13:55 | #22

BROTHER, DEFINTLY THIS INMIGRATION SERVICES OFFICES ARE RULED BY ANTINMIGRANTS PEOPLE, REMAINS OF THE BUSH ADMINISTRATION, BUT THIS PRESIDENT IS WILLING TO HELP INMIGRANT, OK LETS START WITH THE LEGAL PEOPLE, LETS GET TOGETHER AND LET THE OBAMA’S ADMINISTRATION KNOW ABOUT US, LETS THEM KNOW WE ARE HERE FROM A DIFFERENT SITUATION IN COMPARASION WITH THE ILEGALL PEOPLE, BUT ANYWAY STILL SUFFERING THIS BROKEN USCIS.
I GUESS THEY SHOULD START TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT INMIGRANT, BUT WITH THE LEGAL INMIGRANTS WAITING FOR A PRIORITY DATE. LETS GET TOGETHER AND UNITED OUR VOICE AND LET THIS ADIMINISTRATION ABOUT US, IT IS BETTER THAN CHECK THE VISA BULLETIN EVERY MONTH AND GETTING FRUSTRATED EVERY MONTH.

you would be the first one to suffer.

    Uncle Sam:
It’s not that if you don’t like it them go…
It’s that we were called to work here, we were offered a job, we posted ads to call americans to do our job, we didn’t get anything from you guys. That is the problem that even we are contributing to this country by bringing our knowledge and professional background there are people like you. I don’t want to discuss with you. Just to remind you that software for many companies like Verizon,Microsoft etc was created by us…so think before making any comment.

Uncle Sam: I only fave one fervent wish for you. I hope you experience something like being separated from your loved ones, family and friends for more than a decade. When that time comes, I hope you don’t have anything to say or complain about. I hope you experience something like having deaths in the family and you are not able to even visit and see their faces for the last time. I hope you can hug your parents before they succumb to death because they are badly ill.

Yes, it is about time to let our voices heard. USCIS is deaf and our claims are preposterous to them. More than 7 years waiting to be reunited with our loved ones is to be treated as 3rd class citizens. We have been ignored, neglected, and forgotten.
I guess more than a few have died and been buried without the joy of reuniting with their families. So what can we do? Maybe a massive sign- up through this unique site and send it to our president? Maybe a rally for the ones that may die waiting? Maybe a trip to Washington DC to make ourselves seen? We have to do something. Something needs to be done. Please lets unite our common pledges. WE WILL BE ACKNOWLEGED

  35. blame the gultis
    April 15th, 2009 at 19:31 | #35

I agree with Uncle Sam – stop whining. Everybody has a choice to make – you made the decision to come to this country – it’s always a risk to move to another country. That’s YOUR choice. Deal with it. The fact that you can’t meet your family in years – again – that’s YOUR choice. You can quit and go back. Easy, hello no…but that’s what choices are about. The US government never forced you to come here, you are here because you want to lead a more prosperous life.

It was much easier to get GC’s before but as i mentioned in my previous post the influx of fraud gultis have made it hellish for everybody. The US government can ramp up their policies but why should they, they have many more pressing matters at hand. If you have to blame anybody, we should look at people who are abusing the system and taking advantage – the bodyshoppers, the “IT consultant”. We should clean up our house before we start pointing fingers and complain against the policies. Like they say, people living in glass houses should not throw stones at others.

  36. mila lukas
    April 15th, 2009 at 22:07 | #36

    @blame the gultis

Being reasonable implies that I understand your point of view. But there are different reasons for people to be here. This is the “melting pot” and unless you are an American Indian, your parents or grandparents came to this country on the same basis you mention in your note. So if we were to turn around and go back to our own countries, the United States would be desserted. We will write to the president and he knows about discrimination.
At the time of the oath to become a citizen, President Bush said: you can bring your family. What he forgot to say was when and what I forgot was to ask him was when. Had I known what I know now, I would have not bought a home, started a business and become a prosperous citizen as I was in my previous country. I would not got a master degree either.
    With utmost respect.

HEYY MEN DO NOT BE IGNORANT, YOU REALLY BELIEVED THAT YOU KNOW ABOUT INMIGRATION FRAUD??? YOU DO NOT KNOW ANYTHING. LET ME TELL YOU THAT ANY MINOR FRAUD FROM EB3 GC APPLICANTS IS NOTHING IN COMPARASION WITH ALL THE CORRUPT PEOPLE THAT COME TO THIS COUNTRY WITH DIRTY MONEY AND BECOME CITIZEN WITH A L1 VISA, LIKE SOUTH AMERICAN DRUG DEALER. THAT IS A DOUBLE MORAL FROM YOUR GOVERNORS. WHAT ABOUT ALL THAT CUBAN PEOPLE THAT COME TO THIS COUNTRY WITH NOT SKILL OR DEGREE AND JUST BECAUSE YOU FUCKING COUNTRY IS A “HERO” PAY FOR THEM A LOT OF MONEY IN ASSYLUM BENEFITS????.. WHAT ABOUT THE PUERTO RICAN PEOPLE THAT ARE SO PROUD OF BEEN PUERTO RICAN, HATE AMERICAN AND LIVE WITH ALL THE BENEFITS OF US CITIZEN???? AND LIVE FROM UNEMPLOYEMT HALF OF YEAR EVERY YEAR. WHAT ABOUT THE BIRTH CERTIFICATES THAT CUBAN PEOPLE SELL IN MIAMI TO BECOME PERMANENT RESIDENT IN 1 YEAR???
DO NOT WE REALLY DESERVE A BETTER TREAT AS LEGAL INMIGRANT IN COMPARASION WITH THOSE LEGAL INMIGRANT?? WE ARE GONNA STAND IN THIS COUNTRY BECAUSE THIS COUNTRY IS BUILT UP WITH INMIGRANT AND AT THE END WE WILL SUCCESS AS PROFESSIONAL PEOPLE, MAKE ENOUGH MONEY IN THE FUTURE TO HAVE WHAT EVER WE DESERVE AND GIVE YOU A TIP FOR SERVING US.

OK, I GUESS THAT WE ARE REACHING THE POINT OF DOING SOMETHING FOR OUR FUTURE, WE ARE A MINORITY VERSUS ILLEGAL PEOPLE, BUT IF PRESIDENT OBAMA IS TRYING TO DO SOMETHING IN FAVOR OR INMIGRANT, WE SHOULD BE THE VERY FIRST BENEFICIARY, BUT WE HAVE TO MAKE NOISE.
I GUESS WE SHOULD GET TOGETHER IN EACH STATE AND MAKE A LETTER FROM THE ORGANIZED PEOPLE IN EVERY SINGLE US STATE, THEN WE SHOULD TRY TO TALK WITH OUR CONGRESS MENS TO LET THE PRESIDENT KNOW ABOUT OUR SITUATION, OR EATHER TRY TO REACH THE PRESIDENT THROUGH THE GOVERNOR OR HIRED A HONEST LAWYER. IT JUST AN IDEA, BUT WE SHOULD START KNOW, I CAN BE REPRESENTATIVE OF SOUTH FLORIDA.

As May 2009 VB is showing non-availability of Visas for EB3-I category. It does not mean that it can not be available till Oct 2009. If you see the past Visa Bulletin for EB2-I:
Aug 2007- U but again available in Sep 2007
Feb 2008 – U but again available in Apr 2008

But I have not similar case for EB3-I
So hope EB3-I may become available in-between before Oct 2009 and hope there is significant movement in EB3 category like it happened in June 2007 for Eb3-I and dates was moved to 1 June 2003.

Hope in future some good news is going to be there for all Eb3 category whoever is waiting for long time and ofcourse EB2 in bit good shape and nothing much to worry about the guys who are in EB2

Good Luck and focus on your work and your day will come when you see the welcome email from USCIS….

Anyway my PD is May2003 EB3…..Applied in I-485 RD is July 2007
